Apply to a hair-free, clean, dry, oil-free area of the chest, abdomen, arm, wrist, hip or back. Do not use a lotion or cream in the same area prior to application as this may affect adhesion.

Put simply, the active ingredients are mixed with the glue that holds the patch in place. It may not look like much but this is because, unlike pills, there are no extra fillers used to bulk it out.

When the patch is applied the ingredients are released onto the skin they then penetrate the skin, it is a continuous process that lasts several hours, as the actives move further into the skin they are absorbed into the local capillary system, the bloodstream then transports them throughout your body.
